Went to Jump school in May 1967, graduated on June 20, 1967, after that went directly to Viet Nam. Got CIB, awarded 15th day Aug. 1967. Awarded Purple Heart Oct. 8th, 1967. Spent 1 year with 101st Airborne, Went to Fort Bragg for 5 months, didn’t like it. Made 51 jumps but was never awarded senior wings, because went back to Viet Nam in Feb. 69, with 173rd Airborne where I stayed till getting out of service. Spent 3 years in, got out as a Staff Sergeant E6.
Presently very active in VFW, can’t even tell you how many titles I have.
Also Commander of Dale E. Crick Chapter 793 Military Order Of the Purple Heart. Sr. Vice Commander Of Arizona for The Purple Heart.
