I went over on the Eltinge from Ft Campbell in 1965 with HHC, 2/327, lst Bde Task Force. then back to the 101st in 1970 and served with 3/506, 2/17 Cav and 101 Admin Co. I retired as an E-7, Personnel Senior Sergeant in 1983.
To answer your question, I have a CIB, novice jump wings (23 jumps from Oct ’63 to Oct ’65) Bronze Star, Arcom with 2 oak leaf clusters, VN Service ribbon with 3 bronze campaign stars, VN Campaign ribbon, VN Cross of Gallentry with Palm, 6 Good Conduct medals (I never got caught), National Defense Service Medal with 1 oak leave cluster, Overseas Service ribbon, NCO Professional Development ribbon with a “3” device, The Vietnamese Civic Action Medal (1st Class) and the Presidential Unit Citation.
