I am trying to locate Hugh Jackson who was the medic for C 1/327th in Feb 1968 while we were working in Thua Thien Province on Feb 13 1968, the day Robert Maurice was KIA. If anyone knows him would you please pass this this on to him and ask him to contact me. I am also trying to find out if Dale Hansen from Athens TX still has the Our Lady Medallion's that were unique for the 101st . I was the Arty FO for C 1/327th when I got wounded on 25 Feb 68 and wound up in Japan for the next 3 months. I still have the one I got from Chaplin Thompson. If you get this e-mail me.

Does anyone know the weather conditions at Cheo Reo or Dak To during Operation Hawthorne. Can anyone help find anything that may tell about the combat conditions that we fought under? I'm looking for this info for a trooper that was there and is very interested.

I was with 3rd platoon A company 1/327 on Christmas 1970. The company CO was with our platoon and the artillery officer. They were setting up final defensive fire for the 24 hour cease fire. The Lt. of 2nd Platoon was a Lt. Smith. the location that he was suppose to be at was the highest hill of the ridge line where they were located; they weren't. The first round hit almost in the center of their camp, when 2nd platoon call the CO. there was 2 more rounds on the way.
