I was with 1/327th Bravo Co. April 1970 thru Oct 1970 then moved to the 1/327th Mortar Platoon Oct 1970 thru March 1971. I have just recently located a few of the fellows that I was with. If you are out there and remember me, please e-mail me.
The nickname I given was "DAD",I was about 6 to 7 years older then all of the fellow in the platoon. May God Bless all of you.

Just information about me. Serve in Viet Nam from April, 1969 through May, 1970 in Infantry Company A, 1st Battalion, 1st Brigade. Home base was Camp Eagle between Hua and DaNang. A fellow Minnesotan who I served with made me aware of this web site. I wil frequent it often.

This is to Tony Sexton who left a message about his father who was a combat medic in 2/327 Hawks Recon. After my medic, Sam McDaniel, died, your father became our team medic. I remember him greatly. He was very considerate and quite confident in his position. With all love and respect to your father. I wish you both well.

To all my friends. I would like to hear from anyone from the Airborne Dept. at Fort Benning, Georgia during 1973-1975. I was an instructor at ground training committee. Airborne all the way and Rangers lead the way!

Served as a plt sgt with Alpha Troop, 2/17th Cav, 1st Brigade, 101 in '66-'67. Great site for all 1st Brigade vets. Alpha Troop had orders cut by Brigade making us "4th Provisional Rifle Company" becuase, at one time or another, we were attached to both bns of the 327 and the 2/502nd. Keep up the good work. Airborne - we know how far!
