Good Evening Friends,

Hello to all.  I have taken on a new endeavor within the Brigade and am trying to start up a Regimental Association for all previous and serving members of the 327th Regiment.  You may note that I am not typing 327th Infantry due to the plan being that all Soldiers who have served, no matter their military occupation can be a member.  By calling it the 327th Regimental Association we can be open and we can link the past with the present. The goal being to unite us all as the brothers and sisters with the sole mission of ensuring the stories of all are told, logged and remember with the honor that this regiment we love deserves.

There will only be lifetime memberships offered to all for a minimal fee that will be used for the administrative costs of an internet site, lifetime member pins and the other technical stuff.  We already have a very strong support group of veterans and I, along with COL McBride and CSM Wright believe we should all unite as one proud family.

This is all still in it’s very youthful growth stages but I wanted to reach out to you all for your guidance, advice, thoughts and feelings on this. We would love this to be a team effort.

Thank you again for all you have done for us.

Your friend always,
SGT Tiffany Bjorklund

PS I included so new pictures from my patrol last night.

SGT Bjorklund,

I am very proud of what the Bastogne BCT is doing and that the association with our Veterans is still strong. I think there must still be someone around there who can help you and Bastogne 6 connect with what already exists.  I recommend that COL McBride contact COL Dave Gray who followed me in command of the Bastogne BCT in 2004. COL Gray worked hard to start the Regimental Association and tie it in with the already very active Vietnam Veterans who had coalesced around the “Always First Brigade” which had deployed to Vietnam by itself and fought that way for a couple of years before the rest of the 101st Abn Div deployed.

CSM Joe Bossi is very familiar with all of this as well.

Please forward my regards to Bastogne 6 and ask him to drop me an email when he has the chance.

Bastogne!
