I served with your dad Chuck. At the time we were assigned to a mortar section at the Troui River compound. I was the mortar section leader and Chuck was a gunner on one of the mortar tubes. We were together until I was transferred to FSB Tomahawk on Jan 1, 1970. Chuck was the best gunner we had at Troui. If I remember he was from Liberty NY. I grew up in NE PA across the Delaware River. We talked a lot of baseball, he a Met fan, I was a Yankee fan. I bet him a case of beer for the World Series and of course lost. I have a couple of pictures of him. Send me an email and I will forward them to you.
