I served with the Tigers from ’68-’69. At the time I was a SSG E-6 Airborne Ranger.
Myself along with Dave Fields and Charlie Knotts joined the Tigers prior to our assault on Firebase Vehgel.
I served as Squad Leader and Platoon Sgt when Charlie Evans rotated back to the states.
I was in country for 18 mos and spent most of the time in the bush, but I did serve as Supply Sgt, and 1SG for three months, when the company did not have a 1SG.
