My Dad , Michael Deveny , was in the 101st Airborne, A Co, 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry and fought in the battle of Mothers Day Hill, May 14th 1967.
He has a photo of Pfc Snow and other troops in a Chinook helicopter a month before Snow was killed at Mother’s Day Hill.
He also has a photo of the helmets of six casualties from that battle , including that of Sp4 Gonzales and Sgt Norris.
I cannot find record of my Dad in the list of names from the battalions. Is there anyone on here who remembers him? Also, does anyone remember Rayford Oakley?
I appreciate any messages. Thank you
