I was honored to serve with SFC Harper, Walsh, Lane, Burciaga, Meyers—I was your assistant machine gunner until you were wounded in Chu Lao and I took over the M60 machine gunner.
Capt Anthony Mavourudis (Zorba the Greek was the company commander. I acknowledge all members of the second platoon Co C 2nd Bn 1st Bde 101st Airborne.
