My name is Bob March. I was a grunt (RTO) in the 1st Cav, 1st Brigade
(Airborne) , Recon Platoon. in 1966 and then
82nd Airborne for my second tour in 1968.
I am looking for anyone that I could communicate with about the Battle
of My Phu in March of 1966, southwest of Tuy Hoa. I believe that it was
A and B Companys of the 1/327th that were involved.
A few of us have been trying to help the Vietnamese find graves of their soldiers who we buried during the war. At that battle there were more than 100 PAVN bodies located the next morning, and I would like to talk with anyone who was there at that time. I read Major Hackworth was
there, but he passed away in 2005.
You can check out my D Company 1/12th website at www.cattrack6india.com
My phone is 360 627 0918
Please let me know if you have any knowledge of that battle. Thanks.
