Delighted to find this web site. Served as 2/327 Artillery Liaison Officer (now called Fire Support Officer or FSO) in 1971-72. We were all proud that we were the last battalion of the 101st to leave country. The Division stood down at the end of '71, but 2/327 IN along with D 2/320 FA were sent to Cam Rahn Bay to patrol rocket belts through April of '72. Would love to hear from anyone who served with "No Slack" during that time. Ron Crowder, BG, COARNG

I can't tell you how happy I was to find this site and all the information I have been finding regarding Nam and the 101st. My brother Sp.5 James G. Condon was with C company 2nd Bn 327th inf. 101st airborne div. he was KIA on 6/21/66. Jimmy had been in the service for six years. It's been a long time and we never could find out much information regarding Nam. If any one remembers him, I would love to hear from you. I can't believe all the information I have been finding and the wonderful people who have been trying to help me. After finding the Viet Nam Web Site, I had a memorial Page set up for Jimmy.
Jimmy came from a small New England town, after thirty years our family found out by accident that the town had never added his name to the War Memorial in the town square. After much writing to VFW and town officials and proving that my brother had died in Nam a new plaque was ordered with Jimmy's name . I know I speak for my brother and our family when I say God Bless all of you, I know why my brother was ready to go to war,it was and is his country and he loved it and his family, and his dream was that we all could live in peace with no more war's. To the brave men and women of all armed services, may God keep you safe and bring you home soon, your doing one H-- of a job. To all you 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles, God Bless keep the faith, till you meet again. In God's Love
