Some information that might be helpful: I contacted my congressman, and his secretary sent off and got all my medals that I did not receive while I was in VIet Nam. It only took about 3 to 4 weeks. If your medals are listed on your dd 214, you will receive them, only one they were not authorized to send, but did get the ribbon for it, even got the expert rifle I earned while in basic. I was impressed with their response. If interested contact your congressman and they will do all the work, just have your 214 ready for them If an individual sends for them, I was told it would take months. they even put my name on the back of them. If I can be of help e-mail me, Gary VIet Nam 1969.

I was switched later to the 1st Platoon under Sgt Tieman. It's too bad the first platoon picture does not appear in the company photo. I can help to name a few of the guys in the 2nd platoon photo.
