I found this site a couple of days ago, and just finished reading all of the posts in the guest book. Found a couple of names I remember, and sent a couple of Emails.

I served with 2/327 in 70/71; first as S-2, then commanded B Company.

Rhonda- There are pictures of my father on this site- in 1st Battalion-EchoCo.- and he is listed as "Little John" The dates you listed for your father are similar to my Dad's. I would be interested to see if your "Little John" and mine are the same. You see, my father was taken from me at an early age as well and I'd love to see more pics of him from Nam.

Buy the way hi Fuzzy and Rick!

I am so proud of you guys for maintaining this site.Everytime I get on here it pumps me up so much just to have been a part of this.
When I get off I wipe my CIB,polish my jump wings then go outside an see if I can intimidate anyone. After awhile I come back in and thank god for all the wonderful soldiers I got to serve with. You truly are above the rest and I know you take no slack. God is with you.

Some information that might be helpful: I contacted my congressman, and his secretary sent off and got all my medals that I did not receive while I was in VIet Nam. It only took about 3 to 4 weeks. If your medals are listed on your dd 214, you will receive them, only one they were not authorized to send, but did get the ribbon for it, even got the expert rifle I earned while in basic. I was impressed with their response. If interested contact your congressman and they will do all the work, just have your 214 ready for them If an individual sends for them, I was told it would take months. they even put my name on the back of them. If I can be of help e-mail me, Gary VIet Nam 1969.
