I was assigned to C Company 1/327th Airborne Infantry from May of 1966 to July 1967. Was called by some as SuperTroop! Served with Capts Moody and Hillard, the first Sergeants name was Benson. We called him Benefit Ben because he was the reenlistment Sergeant at Fort Bragg. He was killed in Action (helicopter shoot down) in March or April, may have been May of 1967. The XOs name was Lt. Vega. You may contact me if you served at that time. There was also 1st Sergeant Branch. He loved to sing he and spec 4 Thomas.

In Feb 1968 I was assigned to E company 1/327th in Mortars then went out to the Tiger Force until injured in June of 1968.
I remember Sgt Knott and Michael Corrigan and Lt. Raymond, Woody Riddle. I just heard that Sgt Knott died last year. He was very good to me helping me learn to 'stay alert and stay alive'. I would like to reconnect with anyone I was with at the time and make new contacts and also would like the email address of the Tigers in Iraq. I have an PO mail address but there's nothing like email.
Take care everyone.

A finer collection of men and women, officer, NCOs, and soldiers, and just great Americans could not have been assembled. I will always be proud of my association with this great unit!! Bastogne!!!
