I proudly served in 3-327th INF battalion from 22JUN01 to 15OCT04.. "Battle Force" was the best unit I have every served in and with the best men, leadership, peers, I have every worked with.. Taught me everything about being a professional, leader, and a Infantryman.. I grow up as an Infantryman in Alpha Company 3-327th and drove for the best Battalion Commander that I have every served under while in the Army.. Thank You to all whom I served with, and to the fallen comrades that I fought with.. Never Forget!!!

Deployments- JRTC (Oct 01), Oman (Mar. 02 to Apr. 02), West Point (Jun. 02 to Aug. 02), and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Feb. 03 to Mar. 04)!!!!

With Thanksgiving approaching this weekend, I want to say thank you to each of you who served. My father, who I have never had the honor of knowing, served in Vietnam. All I know about him is that his first name was Thomas, he was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA and left from there to go overseas. His father was a police officer in his home town. I have a huge hole in my heart with room for him but just knowing the service he did for our country makes me so proud. If he is out there and wanted contact, I'm here.

Does anybody remember being on Hill 642 (later became FB Kim Qui), 3 klicks east of Veghel, in April or May '71? I was in an NDP up there with a platoon that had a dink 3 man recon party walk into an MA one night. Two dead and the 3d was captured, had a leg blown off. He turned out to be an ops officer that had been fighting since early in the war. I was supposed to interrogate him, but didn't want to go back to the rear. Just wondered if anybody remembered that or whether I'm imagining it.

James H White CO G 327 US Inf was killed in France in 1918. I want to thank you for your site. It is such a wonderful tribute to men who will never be forgotton. I have been trying to find where he is buried and have not been able to locate the site. Your information means so much to me to be able to learn more about my Uncle and the men who served with him.

My Son, PV2 Spencer M. Borum Delta Co. 2/327 1BCT is fighting in Iraq in and around Samarra. As of 06 NOV 2007 he reports it's like "the wild west" there are many ISI and FF and they like to shoot it out. Spence says they are no match for Delta, and are dying for their beliefs. Spence is a SAW gunner and is getting alot of trigger time. He sends his love and wants you to know that the Demons are KA and TN. NO SLACK, HOOAH!
