In February 1966, I took a photo of a Catholic Mass near Tuy Hoa. The Mass was given by Chaplain Bruno Massoti. The photo was released by the Army to the wire services and Chaplain Massoti's photo was plastered all over the news. For years I have tried to track him down. If he's still alive, I would love to share the picture with him and his family.

I was on Firebase Airborne three times in 1969. Every time I was there something weird happened. The first time I think a guy got struck by lightning, the second a lotch helicopter crashed and burned, and the third time a chinook helicopter crashed and burned dropping a fuel cell. All this in addition to the confusion that was on the base because the night before a bunch of Vietcong tried to overrun the place. It was a scary place.
