Looking for any information on Larry Lee Gaskins. My son in law never knew his uncle but still feels a great connection to him. We are looking for any information on Larry. We know he was a CPL in the 101st AirBorne and died in battle on October 8, 1967 in Quang Nam. If anyone out there has any information or knows where I can get any information please contact me. Thank you so much!

I am writing a book for my family on my Vietnam experiences. I noticed the poem by Jerry R. Rogers about the point man. Can I get permission to reprint the poem in my book. The book is not planned for mass distribution. I will be happy if just my family and friends and other interested parties receive it.

Thanks!

My name is E.J. Swatsell, and I am student of history and, especially, the Vietnam War. I am looking for information concerning my second cousin who paid the ultimate sacrifice on this date in 1970. His name was Donnie Jay Swatsell. To the best of my knowledge, he was in the C company of the 1st division of the 327th infantry - 101st. Any information information would be greatly appreciated.

I am setting up a World War 1 re-enactmentgroup. When I started in 1999 I was a glider Infantry man of the 82th. In our group TRIPLE A (101st) I am the only 327 GIR re-enactor, dedicating my BAR to Phil Hooper, a ww2 veteran. I was amazed that in ww1 327 belonged to the 82th, later to the 101st. Now I am even more amazed that it is still a active unit.
Keep on doing the good work. Warm regards!

I served as an anti-armor platoon sergeant with D CO 2nd Bn 327th Inf during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Serving with this unit will always be the proudest moment of my life. There are no finer than those of the 101st Airborne Division (AASLT).
