We know you understand what we go through. Just wanted to let everyone know we are doing ok, its rough but we are fine and I am proud to serve with the 101, NO slack and in the infantry
NFS

Take care

Not sure if you remember me since Jim took command of No Slack around the time your wife died. I heard from one of the No Slack veterans that you were looking for 1SGs Minicozzis info. I did a search on the AKO white pages and he has an email listed. I hope this helps:

Good luck and God Bless, Kris Johnson

I was blessed to have served with Delta, HHC, and Bravo Companies in 2-327th No Slack from April 97 to July 03; it was the best six years of my Army career. I continue to be impressed with the efforts of these great Bastogne vets from our currently deployed troops to these talented folks who developed and manage this website. Great Job All of You, and Thank You for Your Service!

Troopers (1st & 2nd 327th), check out the License Plate Covers/Frames for our "Above the Rest" and "No Slack" brothers that we Currahees have just added to our Gift Shop/PX at: www.currahee.org, or go directly to them at this address: http://www.cafepress.com/currahee3rd_506/4869321.

As you know, many of our 3-506th Currahees became members of the 327th and vise-versa. Some of your former members died alongside our Currahees and Currahees alongside the 327th troopers in Vietnam. We are always looking out for you guys.

Good job on the new website.

I served with D, 2/327th, Dec 68-Nov 69 as 1st platoon leader then as XO the last four months.

I am writing some true short stories about Brett Crandall; Sam the Kit Carson Scout; SFC Robert Ray Fry; Louis Ortiz; Mick Rupe; LT Raymond R. Piseno Jr; Sgt Thomas Hempel; Hill 88; the battalion size cordon of Phu Bai 3 that started on or about March 20, 1969; and Firebase Fury. Any knowledge or photos of these would helpful.

I proudly served with 2/327TH in HHC SCOUT PLT. In 2003, I was with some of the finest men, I have ever known. My wife died in a car wreck during my deployment. I was sent back home to fight a whole different battle. I was now, a single father raising our two children. I will never forget the support I received from my brothers in arms. I will always and forever thank them. There is one person whom I want to get in contact with. 1st Sergeant Minicozzi, Todd. If you have some information on how I might could find him, please post it. Thanks, SCOUTS OUT!
