I was with C Co., 1st Platoon, 1/327th in 69-70. Its almost 40 years ago and theres not a day goes by that I dont think of my brothers and what we went through. I feel so guilty because I can still see their faces but cant remember all the names. Everyone had a nickname, usually given to a "cherry" by someone who had been in the field for awhile. My mentors were Nevin "Zeke" Warner from Montana, Dennis "Gip" Gipson from Texas and Jerry Gallaway from Utah. Thanks guys for teaching me how to stay alive, youre always in my prayers. Also Johnny Meggesey, Lopez, D.J. Alexander, Willie Stokes, Pineapple, I love you all. Is anyone out there? Id be very greatful to hear from anyone. I got Malaria towards the end of my tour and was Medevacd out of the AShau. Never got the chance to say goodbye. Jimmy "the Greek" Austin, Royal Palm Beach, FL.

I served with B, 1/327th Inf in Viet Nam in 66 to 67. If anybody remembers me, please contact me. Also, if anybody can help me get the pictures up because, for some reason, no matter how hard I try, I just can not get them up even though I have downloaded the viewers, I would really like to hear from you.

I served with the 3rd. Bde. 82nd. (ABN) 1968. In early May 1968 we assisted the 2/327th. to evacuate their Kias and wounded. I carried a guy badly wounded in the legs to the medevac point. He gave me his Knife which I still have. Im looking for him, I never asked him his name he was 18 and I think he said he was from Dallas, Tx. If you read this message drop me an e-mail line. Id like to hear from you. only 40 years ago.

During our standdown and getting rid of stuff, I pulled the original E 1/327 guidon out of the burn barrel. It was well worn and patched, but it needed saving. It still looks awesome.
Next time Im near Ft. Campbell, Ill donate to the museum for everyone to see. Welcome Home Brothers!

Frank Hensley

I am looking for anyone that served with my husband, Ernest L. Moore from July-69 - Apr-70. He was with Co. B 2/327th. In April 1970 he was transferred to Co B 3/506th where he was killed on May 10, 1970 in Cambodia. If anyone remembers him, I would love to hear from you. I have found a name of Sgt. Joe Roberto in his address book. I appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks
