God bless our troops now in danger. Hey Sue Qui-I tried to tell these guys their roster of the lost years ago was inadequate........they scoffed. I was in Co. C 1/327 in the first half of 1968. I knew Dan Dian and Sgt Cohen, and maybe some of the others. I was in the rear with a cast on my leg at the time. Their roster also does not include my friend, Arthur Weinper killed as a menber of Tiger Force.

First let me start with a thanks to all of you who served and your families. Second I was told by my father to do one thing whenever I met a Vietnam Veteran and that was to shake his hand and tell him welcome home. I know I do not have to explain the reasoning behind that to anyone who was there but for those of us who weren't this is for you. You shake their hand as a sign of gratitude for their service to this great nation and you welcome them home because unlike veterans from wars previous and almost all since they were not welcomed home by most but rather looked down upon and insulted as they departed the planes. I am sure that this was not always the case but you get my point. I am here because I need a favor and I truly hope someone here can help. My father served with HHC 1/327 inf. in '65 I think. I have heard him talk of a St. Michael medal that I do believe was attached to a cloth rosary that was given out to soldiers as they deployed to Vietnam. Well a few years ago I found the medal online somewhere but can not find anyone who seems to know anything about the rosary or how I might purchase one. If anyone has any knowledge about the rosary or how I might get one please contact me. I would love to get this for him for Christmas but if not that is OK as long as I can get one eventually I will be happy. For those who are wondering or might even have served with him his name is
Douglas Arnold. Thank you again for your service and your help. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

A 'XMAS' WISH. TO the family, friends and loved ones of those who are serving in the Armed Forces When they return, please try to be loving, understanding and patient, during the hard times that both they and you still have to face. When you feel they may not be as close, loving and trusting as they once were, don't take it personal.Try to be loving, understsnding and patient. When try steart having problems at home, work,or the"Normal Surroundings" of yesteryear,be loving, understanding and patient. When they seem to be pushing things to the very for no reason,be loving, understanding and patient. When you find youselves asking them"What's Wrong?" and they answer"I don't know."Don't take it personal;try to understand that they realiy don't know. Most importent, when they say you will never know or understand how they feel, accept that and simply be there for them through thier struggles. I know that I'm asking alot. When life asks us to give love, understanding and patience unconditionally,it seems impossible. They are reliving moments of a time and place that belongs only to them. They have had to make split seconds decisions in a world foreign to them that went against every thing that they where ever taught. It is those decisions that have created an inner turmoil in which they can get lost.Don't let them live through those struggles alone.Whithout help it ccn and will destroy both your lives. There is hope.they are not alone.Veterans all over the world feel what they feel. This may be "Post Ttraumatic Stress Disorder".Become educated about this. There are groups in and out of the V.A.who help us to deal and understand some of this and Stand by them Forever No Slack
