Looking for anyone who was with Company A 1st 327th Inf on and around the sixth of June 1966. One of your own, Michael Joseph Galbraith, and dear friend of mine lost his life on that day. I have tried numerous times to get information as to what happened on that day. The after action report talks about June 7th on but not what happened the day before when your unit lost several troopers. A picture of Michael is shown on your website so perhaps you knew him or at least can provide me with some insight as to just what happened on that day.

I'm a retired Marine and closest friend John had to share information with, but we both remained closed lip and he took his to the grave. HQ Co Commo Section I spent 1 Month as Telephone Operator,in the commo shack,I spent 1 month at a Radio Relay Site, then transferred to C Co as Commo Sgt, I went from Pvt E2 to SSG in my one year tour. I had taken a break for 3 years to get my family back together. I was in 7th Corps LRRPS for 4 years prior to my Discharge.I was the person that painted the "Greyhound Bus" insignia for the Bn Commanders Chopper

While visiting this web site my brother was suprised to see the picture of the troop he served with in Viet Nam. And as he retold some of the stories about the boys (men) he had served with I noticed that his name was not included in the list of soldiers. His name is Harry David Rooks and he standing sixth from the left, in the second row. I have this picture and have looked at it many times over the years with him. I also noticed his name is not included in the group list of the troop.
