I was in 2/327 D co. During desert storm. Was looking for others that went. I remember my crew, but not too many others. Would like to hear from anyone. My crew: Scott Easton, Mark Pruitt, and SGT. Bridenger. Also remember; Raul Rives, Willie Roberts, Paul Hyuck, Paul Seiffert, and Wayne Geatches. Would love to hear from these and all others!

In april 1968, I was serving in the 82nd airborne 3rd bde. in A-Shau valley. We recieved a change of mission to assist the 101st. to evacuate casualties incurred in an ambush, I latter found out it was the 2/327th. I carried a guy to the LZ in order to be medevaced, he had recieved wounds to his legs and was unable to walk. Before I left him he gave me a big hunting knife he had been carrying. I would like very much to contact him.

Mr.Bernie Molina ... I'm wondering if you remember my brother Ernie Moore ... He was with Bco 2/327 from July 1969 until April 17th 1970 ... If you do could I ask where you guys were, how often you were on patrol, maybe something he was doing over there and where? Pictures would help (I have very few of him over there)

Here it is , 45 years( 10JUN70) after an attack on Firebase Tomahawk. I remember all my "NO SLACK"Brothers often, but especially on this anniversary. Company "D"" 2/327th did a great job defending the firebase with Capt. BOB COX at the leader as the great leader he was. His demeaner the night before is what probably save many lives. He always had his hands full with all us young solders. A thank You from me.

First off, WELCOME HOME, BROTHERS and THANK YOU for your service to our country during difficult times. Never had the honor to serve in your great outfit but I am proud of being a "cherry" jumper, having earned my jump wings in the summer of 1968, 47th Student Company, 4th Student Battalion, Fort Benning, GA. I am asking for help in finding relatives of Matherew Dennis Renfroe, GROUND CASUALTY, ACCIDENTAL HOMICIDE, 8 November 1966. Matherew is listed on the Veteran's Memorial in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, my hometown where I grew up, but when going to the VIRTUAL WALL, it shows his home of record as Detroit, Michigan. A group of Vietnam Veterans from NSB are planning a WELCOME HOME for NSB and surrounding area Vietnam Veterans and we would like to inform Matherew's family that we are honoring their loved one. All searches on the Internet, whether for New Smyrna Beach, FL or Detroit, MI, show Matherew's name but with no known family or associates. If any SCREAMING EAGLE from the famous, NO SLACK Battalion could help us, we sure would appreciate it so very much. We supported the GRUNTS (Always capitalized in my writings out of respect for the Infantry, the men on the ground) in Vietnam and I extend a SALUTE OF HONOR, RESPECT and ADMIRATION to you men! WELCOME HOME, Joe 'Ragman' Tarnovsky, 240th Assault Helicopter Company, Crew Chief/Doorgunner, UH-1C Huey Helicopter Gunships, Mad Dog Gun Platoon. July 1969 to 22 October 70.

Hello Gentlemen and Women,

My sweetheart passed in 2002. He left me some memorabilia I want to go to the right people.

I have his dog tag and, more importantly, his 2/327 Hawk Recon rocker. I want to make sure these items land in the right hands.

Thank you, for your service, and welcome home.

Please contact me so I can do the right thing by him. Love to all.

Good afternoon, my name is CPT Kerney Perlik, I am married to CPT Samuel Chason Perlik, both active duty Army officers. Sam is the only living person carrying on the Chason name, after CPL Ted Chason, KIA 8 October 1967. Ted was a member of 2nd Platoon, A-2/327th IN. I would love any information anyone has about Ted or about the battle in which he died. We will be traveling to Vietnam this summer on an academic research trip and would like to visit the location to pay our respects to CPL Chason. Please e-mail me at kerney.perlik@gmail.com. Thank you!

My name is James Shay and I too served with the 327th. I was with the 426th Forward support battalion Alpha Co. in OIF 2003-2004. After that I was moved to the 187th where I served 2 more tours in Iraq.

That how ever is not the purpose of my correspondence today. My Uncle Kevin Shay served in 2nd Bat in Nam. He has passed away some years ago and myself and our family don't know too much about his tour, what he went through and what battles he was in. He never talked about it much for good reason. As a combat vet I understand the struggle. The reason I am writing to your org is because I found his photo while googling his name. If you brothers have any info or stories that you would be able to share about my Uncle that would be outstanding. This is my e-mail and I am also on social media Face Book as James M Shay.

My Uncle was the reason I reenlisted to go to Fort Campbell and serve with the best outfit in the Army. He will always be my greatest Hero and anything you could do to help me and our family know him better would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

In last week of May 1970, I was assigned as a PFC medic (21 yrs old) to A Co 2/327th Inf "No Slack". I served alongside with 30 other most honorable grunts under the awesome leadership of 1Lt Art Pappas. I would like to make contact with all who served in our platoon. I left Nam in April 1971, and my lifelong pursuit is to return and revisit those hallowed grounds for purpose of remembrance, reflection, reconciliation and closure.

Today is Memorial Day 2015. I just watched The Hornet's Nest about Operation Strong Eagle III. What a moving documentary! I served in the US Navy 40+ years ago, VT3 Whiting Field. I realize my duty was in no way like serving a war zone and give thanks to all who did. Because today is Memorial Day this is the special day to remember all those who gave everything for me and our country. I thank those men and women and their family and friends.

US Army Security Agency, 1967-1971.
I recently came into possession of a bronze "Zippo" lighter with the inscription "Viet Nam Tuy Hoa 66-67". There is also a stylized version of "WAR" on the same side. The other side is a quote. Being a brother in arms I thought to reach out and see if anyone there might know who the owner may have been. He or his family might like it back???
Please contact me by email if someone recognizes this!!!
