I recently hit your site and found pictures of my brother who passed in 1988, and contacted the one who had submitted the photos. Turns out he was looking for Johnny, and only submitted the photos about a month ago. Thank you for you site and all the help you guys have been in my quest. God bless you and once again thank you for your help. Later, Joyce

I served proudly with B-Co. 1st Plt. 1st327 11/69-11/70 as a pointman. This website is a blessing for many of us brothers. This website is the 'parade' that we never got. It is the 'welcome home' that we didn't hear upon our return. Thanks to Hannibal, David J. Markham, Yankee Jim, and all the hard workers who keep this ship afloat. Erick

Dave Cook contacted me regarding a memorial post I made awhile back. I am the former wife of Sgt. Jimmie Mincks' son, Karl and the mother of 3 of Jimmie's grandsons. I am working on a family history for my children and grandchildren and Jimmie's ancestry & heritage will be included. I am in contact with Jimmie's first wife and with Karl & his sister, Judy who is also working on the Mincks family tree. Would love any stories, memories, photos or just anything about Jimmie since I know so little. I also have no photos for his grandchildren and great grandchildren since his first wife didn't save any of those things much and what she did save was lost in moving, etc. This would go in the family history for his descendants--a treasure for generations to come. Thanks to all of you who gave so much. About all you have is our thanks and your sacrifice is and was appreciated.Anyone wishing to contact me, please do so. I would love to correspond with you. Again, anything on Jimmie would be so appreciated.
