I need to find friends and comrades from the past.I will try and find out as much information as I can.
I was in HHC at Camp Eagle 1971-1972. I worked in the motor pool. When the 101st went home I was shipped to the 1st Cav Division. When I returned to the states I was stationed at Fort Carson Colorado until I got out.If anyone remembers please let me know.

I just found out that co-worker has a son Kyle Worden with the 2/327th and wanted to tell you folks that we are all with you and you are in our prayers for a safe return. I was a platoon leader with the 1/506th in 68 in Vietnam and know how good you guys are. Kick ass and don't take names. AIRBORNE!!!

Best of luck to the men of B/1-327, the unit I commanded in '67 thru Duc Pho, Chu Lai, etc. XO was Lt Larry Wissel--Top was SFC Don Dian--both KIA. During that time, under Bn Cdr "Ghostrider", B Co was known as the Barbarians. 1st Bde always led the Div. I know you will continue in the best traditions of the "Above the Rest" battalion! "ATR"!

I recently changed email accounts from Outlook to Hotmail. When I signed up,Outlook assigned me an address of WBYRD1327. I decided to use the same address when I moved over to Hotmail. Last night I heard from a good friend whom I went through AIT and 12 months (Jul '70 - Jul '71) in the RVN with. I forwarded him my email address and in doing so, for the first time, I noticed that WBYRD1327 is Wes Byrd 1/327 infantry. Ya gotta love it!
