I was the squad leader 3rd sqd. 3rd Plt. B 1/327 when we departed Ft Campbell for Vietnam. I was on board the Gen. Leroy Eltinge, and served my year in that same company. I would like to find my old platoon sgt. John Oliver [Big John] he was an instructor at jump school prior to Vietnam.
I am looking for the after action report regarding the battle at My Canh II, Phu Yen province Feb 7, 1966. B 1/327 and Tiger Force were the elements that I know were involved.
