One of the original “Boat People,” I was a squad leader in the 2nd platoon. Was on recon most of the time as I was Recondo trained at Fort Campbell. Campbell is also where I went to Jump School.
Roy passed away at Midnight on Saturday, 2 Nov. 2002. He had been fighting the long battle with a long list of illnesses, all caused by service to this GREAT COUNTRY.
