Raised in Chicago, Il. currently living in Warren, Mi.
I was inducted into the Army December 1969 in Chicago. Basic training at Ft. Campbell Ky. home of the 101st.
Most of my time in Vietnam was ground pounding with the 25th Infantry Div. in Cambodia, and the 101st Airborne in and around the Ashau.
Became a member of the mortar platoon toward the the end of my tour. We were known as the light Horse Battery, ‘Faster than time’.
