I arrived at Camp Eagle January 1971. MOS was 11C, but went into the bush as 11B & became an RTO for A/CO 1/327th. Tony Metzger was the other RTO. In the hospital 26 days with boils & cellulitis, July & August. Went to San Mateo, January 1972 Amen.
John can be seen in a picture on Abu’s Past Photo’s titled “Warriors Welcome Home….In San Mateo”. He’s the guard next to the company flag.
