Except for a brief stint in TOC of the Battalion, Howell Cooper was the last platoon leader of 1st platoon, Delta, 1/327th. He spent 2/3 of his tour in the field. Then they were pulled out of the field and sent to Camp Eagle and were there until 101st officially Stood Down.
They sorted through the stuff we had collected for the four years it had been in the I Corp AO.
