I went by “KC” in Viet Nam. I spent a little time with the 1/5th Cav. prior to going to No Slack. Myself and AE (Al Fellner, pic on left) walked point together. We became brothers. We worked west to northwest of Hue. We did set foot on a few firebases, Veghel, Bastogne, B-Ham, Rakkasan, Rendezvous. I left with 11B40 MOS (Buck Sergeant) with no wounds. I was squad Leader the last few months I was in country. I left country on 26-Sep-71 returning to Flint, Michigan.
