I was promoted to the rank of SSG E-6 in Nov. of 1969 and was a squad leader for the 3rd squad, 3rd platoon, B Co. 1/327 from June 69 until April 1970, at which time I was discharged from the Army. I was acting platoon sergeant for a short time during that period.
