I was a grunt never went to jump school .

I received a: CIB and Bronz Star medal.

My (I ) corps lots of Eagle flights at night ambush in Ashau Valley

I was a spec4 rifleman – my AO’s, Phu bai, Quan tree, Khe Sanh, Hue, A Shau Valley, Hill 642 Kim Qui, our squad was the first to secure the hill for a Fire Base later for the 3/54 Arvn arrival.

We would have 3 day Stand Downs every 3 months, Firebase Baston , Firebase Ann.

Later flew us to Da Nang to Elephant Valley while Americal was pulling out.
